STRATEGIC AREA 1
CURRICULAR ASPECTS
Goal:
To provide competency-based, quality Ayurvedic education by integrating classical principles with contemporary healthcare needs.
Key Strategies and Measures:
The institution actively participates in curriculum planning and implementation as per NCISM and Deemed University regulations. Structured academic calendars, lesson plans, and clinical schedules are followed. Curriculum enrichment is achieved through seminars, workshops, interdisciplinary lectures, certificate courses, and skill-based programs. Vocational and job-oriented training programs are introduced based on healthcare demands. A structured feedback mechanism from students, alumni, faculty, patients, and stakeholders is implemented for continuous curriculum improvement.
STRATEGIC AREA 2
TEACHING, LEARNING AND EVALUATION
Goal:
To promote student-centric and outcome-based teaching-learning processes through innovative instructional and assessment methods.
Key Strategies and Measures:
Faculty development programs and periodic training need analysis are conducted to enhance teaching competencies. ICT-enabled teaching tools, smart classrooms, and Learning Management Systems are utilized. Outcome-Based Education is implemented with defined learning outcomes. Remedial teaching for slow learners and enrichment activities for advanced learners are provided. A structured mentor–mentee system supports academic and personal growth. Continuous internal assessment and transparent evaluation systems are followed, along with interdisciplinary learning exposure within the Sumandeep Vidyapeeth campus.
STRATEGIC AREA 3
RESEARCH, INNOVATION AND EXTENSION
Goal:
To develop a strong research culture and promote evidence-based Ayurvedic practices addressing community and global health challenges.
Key Strategies and Measures:
Research laboratories and clinical research units are strengthened across departments. Faculty and
students are encouraged to undertake research projects, publications, and funded studies through CCRAS, ICMR, and university schemes. Centers of excellence in priority clinical areas are developed. Innovation and entrepreneurship are supported through incubation and startup initiatives. Extension activities such as health camps, outreach programs, and preventive health awareness initiatives are conducted. National and international collaborations and MoUs are established for research, academic exchange, and faculty development.

INFRASTRUCTURE AND LEARNING RESOURCES
Goal:
To provide modern physical, clinical, and digital infrastructure that supports quality education, research, and patient care.
Key Strategies and Measures:
Continuous upgradation of classrooms, laboratories, museums, seminar halls, and hospital facilities is ensured. The Ayurved teaching hospital is strengthened with OPD, IPD, Panchakarma units, diagnostic services, and specialty clinics. The central library is digitized with access to Ayurvedic classics, modern textbooks, journals, and e-resources. Herbal gardens, ICT infrastructure, campus safety systems, sports, wellness, and recreational facilities are developed to support holistic learning.

STUDENT SUPPORT AND PROGRESSION
Goal:
To nurture competent, ethical, and employable Ayurveda graduates through comprehensive academic and personal support systems.
Key Strategies and Measures:
Academic, emotional, and financial support is provided through mentoring, scholarships, grievance redressal, and anti-ragging mechanisms. Career guidance and counselling services are strengthened. Structured internship planning and clinical exposure are ensured. Skill development, personality development, and value-added programs are conducted regularly. Students are encouraged to participate in co-curricular, extracurricular, sports, cultural, and NSS activities. Alumni engagement is strengthened to support mentorship, placements, and professional networking.

GOVERNANCE, LEADERSHIP AND MANAGEMENT
Goal:
To ensure transparent, participative, and quality-driven governance through effective leadership and administrative systems.
Key Strategies and Measures:
The Internal Quality Assurance Cell functions as a key body for quality sustenance and enhancement. Decentralized governance with clearly defined roles and responsibilities is practiced.
Transparent policies are implemented for recruitment, promotion, performance appraisal, and service conditions. E-governance and Management Information Systems are adopted. Regular internal audits, financial planning, budgeting, and resource optimization are ensured. Leadership development and faculty empowerment initiatives are actively promoted.

INSTITUTIONAL VALUES AND BEST PRACTICES
Goal:
To uphold ethical values, social responsibility, environmental sustainability, and institutional distinctiveness.
Key Strategies and Measures:
The institution promotes gender equity, ethical conduct, and professional values among students and staff. Green campus initiatives such as plantation, waste management, energy conservation, and water conservation are implemented. Community engagement is strengthened through rural health services, preventive healthcare programs, and free medical camps. Best practices are identified, documented, and benchmarked with premier institutions. Efforts are made to strengthen Ayurveda’s role in national and global healthcare delivery.
