APPLY FOR INTERNSHIP
To apply for the BAMS internship at Sumandeep Ayurved Medical College & Hospital , follow these procedures based on whether you are an internal or external candidate:
- Internal Students
For students currently enrolled at Sumandeep Ayurvedic Medical College, the internship is a mandatory part of the 5.5-year BAMS course (4.5 years of theory + 1 year of compulsory rotatory internship).
- Verification: Once you pass your final (Third Professional) BAMS examinations, the college administration initiates the internship registration.
- Registration: You must fill out the Doctor Internship Registration Form.
- Fee Status: Internal students typically do not pay additional tuition fees for the 12-month internship period.
- External Students (Transfer/NOC Internship)
If you are from another college and wish to complete your internship at Sumandeep, the process is subject to seat availability and university approval:
- NOC Requirement: You must obtain a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from both your parent college and the university to which your college is affiliated.
- Application: Contact the Department of Central Admission at Sumandeep Vidyapeeth directly to check for vacancies in the internship batch.
- University Eligibility: Students from other states may need an eligibility certificate or specific clearance from the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM).
- Necessary Documents
You will likely need to submit the following to the college office:
- Final BAMS Marksheets (All years)
- Provisional Degree Certificate (issued by the parent university)
- Aadhar Card and 4–6 Passport-sized photographs
- Medical Fitness Certificate
