Agada Tantra is one of the Ashtanga (eight) classical branches of Ayurveda, which deals with the identification, prevention, diagnosis, and management of various types of Visha (poisoning). The department also imparts structured training in Vyavahara Ayurveda (Forensic Medicine) and Vidhi Vaidyaka (Medical Jurisprudence), ensuring that undergraduate students acquire essential medico-legal knowledge and practical orientation required in medical practice.
The department functions in alignment with institutional objectives and regulatory guidelines, contributing significantly to undergraduate education and medico-legal awareness.
